Leon is the Global Consumer Industry Leader as well as the Consumer Products Sector Leader for Deloitte (all services). He has a background in Supply Chain Strategy and primarily works in the Consumer Business (esp. Food & Beverage) focusing on large digital-driven business transformations. Leon has more than 15 years of experience in Strategy & Transformation projects for large multinationals. He formally led the Consumer Product Industry at Deloitte North & South Europe and Strategy & Operations practice in EMEA. Leon has worked for multi-nationals and global organizations across all major countries in Europe and in the United States of America. Specialties: 25 years of experience in Supply Chain Strategy & Transformation projects for large multinationals in especially Food & Beverage space. Focusing on (Supply Chain) Strategy, Operations, Operating models, Digital Transformation, Process Optimization, Technology Enablement and Digital transformations. Leon is the sponsoring partner of the LGBT initiative (GLOBE) of Deloitte Netherlands and is Board Member of Workplace Pride, the international organization for the inclusiveness of LGBT employees in the workplace. Outside of work, Leon likes to be a chef in the kitchen as he enjoys having good food and wine with family and friends. .
James is a partner in Deloitte & Touche LLP and leads Deloitte’s Sustainability, Climate & Equity (SC&E) offering in the US for the Consumer industry across all of Deloitte’s businesses. He is responsible for the strategic growth of Deloitte’s SC&E services in the Consumer industry from strategy to risk and reporting. He also serves on Deloitte’s Global Council for Sustainability Alliances & Technology. He is also the Future of Food leader for the Americas’ region, guiding a team of professionals that help drive innovative, transformative, and sustainable change in the food ecosystem to enable a nature positive system. Additionally, he is a leader in Deloitte’s Enterprise Trust offering leading a global team of analytics and technology professionals that help clients measure and enhance trust. James is fluent in three languages and has more than 25 years of experience providing advisory services to clients across five continents regarding sustainability, food safety, supply chain risk, brand reputation, and trust. .
Steve is the managing director of Deloitte's Consumer Industry Center, Deloitte Services LP. He leads a team that conducts research to uncover new ways of thinking, working, and leading within the consumer industry through data and evidence driven analysis. With more than 20 years of experience within consulting and high tech, Steve is especially interested in the intersection of technology, consumers, and business. He is focused on how industry leaders can deliver better results and the strategies organizations use to adapt to accelerating change. .
Derek is a senior manager with the Center for Integrated Research in Deloitte Services LP. His research focuses on the confluence of emerging technological and social trends across industries. .
Anthony is a partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP and serves as Vice Chair and Deloitte US Consumer Industry leader. Previously, he led our Advisory Consumer industry and Finance Transformation practices and was a member of Deloitte’s cross-business Finance Transformation leadership team. With nearly 30 years providing services to multinational clients in the consumer products, transportation, hospitality, retail and distribution sectors, he focuses on assisting clients with transformational initiatives involving the development and/or evaluation of finance operations and programs designed to improve financial integrity, compliance and operational effectiveness and efficiency. Anthony also serves as a lead business partner and advisory partner for a select group of strategic global consumer clients. He’s a thought leader and has co-authored several pieces on consumer trends and marketplace shifts, as well as, the evolving role of the corporate controller. Across Deloitte, he is known for teaming & inclusiveness, driving collaboration in industry transformation efforts, and leading Finance Transformation integrated market offerings.
