Vintage; C.1930's-40's Art Deco era silver-plate tea/coffee pot with wood ebony handle, along with a demi-lune, bakelite knob top handle, Made in India. Country of provenance sticker is affixed to base bottom as image indicates, BUT it also showcases the hand-made process of silversmithing technique with the shaved and/or chiseling effect from forming silver pieces by hand-crafted artisans, as many Silver pieces were manufactured in India for the European/American marketplace. It is ensconced within the Art Deco design period, as the forthcoming elements to the overall design esthetic denotes, such as; the trim, tiered surround to the rounded body-shape, the platform base, spout as well as the handle, whereupon it has an overall streamlined Bauhaus to Art Deco look.
