Tibetan Dragon Cushion Rug, Antique

We found this fabulous rug in an old home of Mustang's royal family while trekking deep in the Himalaya, in the restricted Mustang area. It was being used as a cushion cover and stood out as soon as we saw it. It is not as old as our other carpets, but the design and colors are lovely. The carpet depicts a four-armed dragon facing forward in a celestial field of clouds. The uses are many as you could hang it on the wall, find a special place on the floor, or return it to use as a cushion cover. Age: Late 20th CenturySize: 46 x 87 cm (18" x 34") Condition: Good, consistent with age
